Responsibilities:
- Responsible for interfacing with and supporting imaging and multimedia subsystems
- Working closely with customer systems and engineers in both local and customer labs
- Work closely w/ ISP development teams for tuning data captured by camera sensors utilizing Internal Tuning Tools, Matlab, Image Quality Analysis tools, Image charts, Lighting Studio, Color Spectrophotometer.
- Helping engineers integrate final drivers into SW platforms
- Debug image quality issues and work with Architecture and Software teams to come up with innovative solutions
- Develop lab and real-world quality tests and work with team to capture and evaluate images and tune the system.
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Computer/Electrical engineering, Computer Science. Master’s degree preferred
- 10+ years of experience with multimedia and imaging sub-systems
- Practical experience with sensors and optics and hands-on experience with image capture boards and camera tuning tools and image quality analysis
- Good background with image processing algorithms and ISP pipeline such as – HDR, AWB, Auto Gain, Denoise, Gamma correction, color space conversion etc
- Excellent communication skills. Will involve interaction with internal and external (customer) engineering teams.
- 10-15% of travel to global development sites and customers
