Enrollment Manager job - Minnesota State Community and Technical College - Moorhead, MN





This position implements the college and campus enrollment management and community outreach program for Minnesota State Community and Technical College and specifically for the Moorhead campus. In addition, on a strategic level, the position provides significant support for the college’s marketing and public relations efforts.


Examples of Duties:


  • Customer Service. On a daily basis, execute the M State Service Commitment and Service Standards to ensure all stakeholders have a positive service experience.

  • Teamwork. On a daily basis, execute tasks and fulfil responsibilities in a manner that promotes teamwork and collaboration among clientele groups in order to improve student access and success college wide.

  • College and Campus Recruiting and Enrollment Management. Coordinate and implement the college and campus recruiting activities as outlined in the college’s enrollment management plan for the Moorhead campus.

  • College and Campus Enrollment Management Planning. In close cooperation with the college’s Director of Admissions and student services staff, develop, coordinate and implement the M State enrollment management plan.

  • College and Campus Marketing and Community Outreach. Work with the college’s Director of Marketing and Public Relations to develop the college’s marketing plan.

  • Represent the college, as needed, at state, regional and community professional organizations.

  • Hire, train and supervise work-study students so that work is performed professionally and the office functions smoothly.


Typical Qualifications:


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Two-year degree in marketing or related field.

  • Experience in recruitment, sales, or marketing

  • Customer services skills sufficient to actively listen to and understand customer needs and provide accurate information and appropriate alternatives in a timely, thorough, courteous, respectful, and professional manner.

  • Superb working relationships with a variety of external and internal constituencies in which the incumbent represents the college.

  • Demonstrated ability to organize responsibilities.

  • Progressive computer technology skills.

  • Ability to establish and maintain relationships of mutual respect and partnership with others in service territory.

  • Ability to manage time and human resources optimally.

  • Ability to work in a variety of teams.

  • Fiscal management skills to effectively manage the budget for assigned area.

  • Ability to develop memos, reports, letters, and presentations on area of responsibility.

  • Excellent written and oral communications skills are required to effectively communicate with both external and internal audiences.

  • Ability to carry light loads (15-20 pounds) of college information materials.

  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle and hold a valid driver’s license.

  • Ability to understand and function within a computer database working environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to act with integrity and ethics.

  • Demonstrated ability to create and maintain a professional working environment.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Four-year degree in marketing or related field.

  • Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated achievements in a marketing position.

  • Experience working in a two-year community and technical college setting.

  • Limited working knowledge regarding the college operation and function.
