Description


Executive Assistant opportunity to support Itron’s VP Corporate Controller and other executive leaders within finance. This individual must demonstrate exceptional organizational skills in supporting senior management. Requires in-depth knowledge of company operations, policies, and procedures. Handles details of a highly confidential and critical nature. Collects and prepares information for use in discussions/meetings of executive staff and outside individuals. Prepares presentation materials for board of director meetings. Makes high level contacts of a sensitive nature inside and outside the company. Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Requires a professional certification or equivalent experience in working with senior level executives within and outside the company, as well as experience with customers, vendors, visitors, and other dignitaries.


1. Maintain confidentiality, prudent decision making, high level of tactfulness, discretion, diplomacy and sensitivity.

2. Receive, prioritize, process and/or compose responses to printed and electronic documents and communications.

3. Maintain files and confidential data.

4. Coordinate executive’s daily schedule, resolving conflicts as necessary, updating schedule to reflect changes and advising executive of commitments.

5. Plan, coordinate and prepare every aspect of conferences and meetings.

6. Initiate and coordinate executive’s travel arrangements.

7. Prepare and coordinate executive department budget (timesheets, expense accounts, request for vouchers), including provision of historical data and analysis for quarterly outlook and annual business plans.

8. Serve as both customer and employee contact when executive team member is not available and respond on behalf of executive team member.

9. Determine requirements to access critical material for research, planning and tracking information in established and maintained databases.


Experience:

This position requires a minimum of 4-6 years related experience.


Education: High School graduate or equivalent. AA or BA degree preferred.

Certification(s):

Travel: 1 – 10%

Physical Demands: This is a typical office job, with no special physical requirements or unusual work environment.
