This position is responsible for registering patients, verifying insurance and demographics, scheduling appointments, and providing an informational center for patient questions and directional needs. This position provides excellent customer service and working cooperatively with all departments in an effort to achieve OMC’s goals and objectives.

Job Responsibilities:
·
Protect patient confidentiality and health information at all times
·
Patient registration and chart creation each time patient arrives at the clinic
·
Verifies demographics
·
Identifies primary care providers
·
Answers patient questions, including billing and provide directional needs.
·
Schedules and verifies appointments
·
Discuss co-pays and payments with patients and customers
·
Works closely with clinicians and nursing staff
·
Attends education and training seminars
·
Prepares charts for patient appointments
·
Orders supplies and stocks departments
·
Performs internal and external patient referrals
·
Pulls, tracks, and files medical records
·
Other responsibilities as assigned
