About the Job:
As a Security Receptionist, you will be responsible for controlling physical access into the 2RCC-WH. The Security Receptionist will verify all personnel and visitors have authorized access into the facility by validating employee credentials and/or security clearances required for access. Additional duties include issuing employee and visitor badges and monitoring CCTV Security feeds throughout the facility. Security Receptionists are a part of the overall Security Access Management Team, and will provide telephonic, online, and in-person customer support to 2RCC-WH staff and customers as requested by processing service requests and/or issues related to physical security and access management in a DOD environment. The Security Receptionist is a highly visible position and represents the entire 2RCC-WH as the first individual to great all visitors to the organization. These visitors may include external industry representatives, senior level executives, or high ranking DA civilians and Military officers. As such a professional demeanor and strong work ethic are a must; along with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment either independently or as part of a team.
The Security Receptionist role is a 24×7 position requiring flexible hours and the ability to support one or more defined work schedules (Early, Mid, Swing).
Primary Duties:
- Verify appropriate identification is present and visible on all personnel attempting entry into the 2RCC-WH
- Verify all guest in Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) and issue the appropriate badge prior to permitting entry into 2RCC-WH
- Greet all incoming and outgoing staff and customers.
- Monitor incidents and service requests using BMC Remedy ITSM and provide the requested support within established Service Level Targets (SLT).
- Take appropriate action as necessary to ensure proper handling of classified material in order to mitigate any possibility of breaches in security, policy, or procedures.
- Effectively manage time and effort to ensure on-time completion of all assigned tasks. Support special projects as needed to achieve organizational goals and/or mission objectives.
- Coordinate with external organizations such as 7 th Signal Command (Theater), Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM), U.S. Army Cyber Command (USARCYBER) and Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) as needed to support customer request.
- Assist in the creation, maintenance and/or review of written documentation and procedures for the 2RCC-WH and Access Management Team.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to secure and maintain a SECRET level security clearance.

- High school Diploma plus 3-5 years of customer service experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
– CompTIA Security+ CE
– 5 or more years experience supporting Information Assurance and Security related functions in large/complex IT based organizations.
– Experience with BMC Remedy
– Experience using Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS)
