Providing radio frequency, baseband, system and complete software support to OEMs and system integrators, Broadcom’s Bluetooth chips enable the wireless sharing of data among scores of electronic devices, from mobile phones and PDAs to wearable devices and automobiles, and a lot more.
– Participate in BT/FM/WLAN baseband firmware development and perform substantial firmware trouble-shooting
– Provide sustained support to customer programs that integrate with Broadcom’s BT and WLAN combo chips.
– Design and develop demo and proof-of-concept SW/FW as needed
– Support the development, marketing and customer integration of BT/FM/WLAN applications.
– Train and support Broadcom’s sales team and FAEs as required
Requirements:
– Typically requires a BSCS/BSEE degree with 9+ years of experience, an MSCS/MSEE degree with 6+ years of experience or a PhD with 3+ years of experience
– In-depth knowledge of programming language C or C++
– Experience with embedded development environment
– Experience with Perl or similar scripting language is a plus
– Knowledge on Bluetooth, WLAN, GPS, FM, NFC or similar wireless technology is a plus
– Strong hands-on debugging and testing skills
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills
