WFP is currently recruiting for the position of Graphic Design and Brand Manager. This position is the creative guru for all things Water For People; any work product which visually identifies with our brand is approved or created by this person. The Graphic Design and Brand Manager will be tasked with maintaining WFP’s brand integrity as well as showcasing our programmatic uniqueness through visuals and design. This position is based at WFP’s headquarters in Denver, Colorado.
Candidates must have an associate degree in advertising, communication design, or visual arts as well as at least 3 years of experience in graphic design including exceptional computer skills in Mac operating platform, proficiency in Adobe creative suite, Microsoft Office, and all aspects of print design, and experience with photo editing. The successful applicant will have excellent organizational skills, demonstrated ability to think creatively and provide marketable solutions in conceiving, developing, and producing tactics, and a flexible and team- oriented work styles mission is also desired for this position.
Essential Job Functions and Duties
- Create, maintain, and market the Water For People Brand to all of the internal and external audiences.
- Build better brand awareness and aesthetic that is timely and relevant.
- Play a key role in facilitating use of brand assets, as well as creating materials and tools for all departments to utilize.
- Manage design tasks and requests that are cross-departmental.
- Conceptualize and create solutions that effectively communicate the strategic intent for each tactic.
- Provide direction to any freelance or contracted designer.
- Advise on all visual and design components for the organization.

EDUCATION/FORMAL TRAINING/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
A minimum of an associate (2 year) degree in advertising, communication design, or visual arts. A bachelor’s (4 year) degree is preferred. Equivalent work experience in lieu of education is acceptable.
3+ years graphic design experience is required.
Must possess exceptional computer skills. Mac operating platform a must.
Proficient in Adobe creative suite applications is required as well as Microsoft Office.
Knowledge in project management platforms a plus.
Demonstrated ability to think creatively and provide marketable solutions in conceiving, developing, and producing tactics.
Proficient in all aspects of print design.
Web, social media, email design is a must.
Photography experience a plus, photo editing experience required.
Must be comfortable working with international and remote employees.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Ability to travel 10-20% of the time domestically and internationally to developing countries, where travel is rugged.

This is a full time, exempt position with a comprehensive benefits package. Salary range is $47,000-$51,000 USD and commensurate with level of experience.
