The Albany Housing Authority is now accepting applications for the position of Office Clerk. Applications may be picked up and returned to the Administrative Office located at 521 Pine Avenue, Albany, Georgia, between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM beginning Monday, July 11, 2016. Applications must be received no later than Friday, July 22, 2016 at 11:00 A.M.


OFFICE CLERK : A support staff position with computer skills; duties include some or all of the following: receptionist, secretarial and clerical assignments, taking information from applicants, scheduling, reporting, calculations and administrative duties. Work involves considerable and constant public contact. Education – High School Diploma or GED supplemented by training in bookkeeping, secretarial skills, computer skills, and front office skills. Georgia Driver’s license is required. This position is covered under Section 3 of the HUD act of 1968; HUD recipients and Section 3 residents are encouraged to apply.


Drug Testing and Criminal Background Checks.


Minimum Starting Salary: $8.40 per hour. Full benefits.
