The Global Data Insight and Analytics IT Portfolio Supervisor is responsible for strategy development and portfolio management services for a portion of the portfolio of IT Global Data Insight and Analytics Initiatives.
Global Data Insight and Analytics (GDIA) is new skill team designed to bring data and analytics together to build Enterprise Analytic Insight. The IT Portfolio Manager will partner with GDIA teams to enable analytic capability, including implementing and maintaining a new data platform. The data platform will bring together all data from internal, external, and connected product sources. The position will be responsible for developing and executing both short- and long-term strategies to achieve insight and for coordinating with other IT efforts.
Responsibilities:
Chartering IT solutions and infrastructure to support GDIA initiatives
Developing integrated cycle plans for IT infrastructure
Managing financial activity for the portfolio (approvals, consolidation, business plan, etc.)
Ensuring current implementations continue to deliver value to the business
Communicating IT capabilities and strategy
Interfacing with internal IT organizations (AD, ITO, Security, etc) to deliver GDIA solutions
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field of study
10+ years of experience with analytic solutions and technologies
10+ years of experience collaborating with IT groups on strategy and architecture decisions around electronic data
10+ years of experience analyzing key business operations to drive innovation
5+ years of experience consulting with project teams on efforts related to data extracts, additions or services which exist or need to be created to support the portfolio
Preferred Qualifications:
Self-starter and highly motivated; uses sound business judgment and exhibits strong leadership qualities
Effective time management and prioritization skills; ability to construct quality deliverables from minimal definitions and to work on multiple assignments simultaneously
Strong written and oral communication skills – able to clearly convey complex blends of business and technical matters to a range of audiences
Demonstrated capability to build and maintain strong Business and IT relationships
Ability to work with (and lead from within) global and cross-functional teams.
