Here’s where you come in:
As Senior Advisor, Gender & Inclusion, you will provide strategic leadership for gender equality and inclusion of the most vulnerable children (with special focus on children with disabilities) across the strategy, programming, policy, and grant acquisition domains of World Vision’s work. You will aim to enable World Vision’s strategies, policies and programming around the world to effectively integrate gender equality and inclusion and drive quality, innovation and results.
Requirements include:
- Masters Degree in a gender, human rights or social development related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience working in the sector, including field and management experience.
- Candidate must have extensive life/work experience in the global south and be extremely sensitive to the cultural, political and social dynamics in any given country or region
- Effective in written and verbal communication in English and proficient in one other language – Spanish, French (preferred)
- The position requires ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 30 % of the time.
