Position: Finance Administrative Assistant (Temporary and Part-Time)

Position Summary: Relief International is currently recruiting for a Finance Administrative Assistant to support the Chief Financial Officer. He/she will coordinate and perform professional and confidential project functions and assist the Chief Financial Officer.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
· Track and help prioritize activities within RI that require CFO’s attention.
· Handle the CFO’s calendar and scheduling demands.
· Coordinate logistics for all internal and external meetings supported by the Finance Office.
· Schedule the CFO’s complex domestic and international travel arrangements
· Prepare all expense reports for the CFO in adherence with internal policies and deadlines.
· Maintain Finance Office files.
· Represent the Finance Office to internal and external audiences by providing information, handling routine inquiries directly or by delegating to departments and following up.
· When requested, attend intra-office meetings to take minutes and track follow-up issues and action items.
· Create and revise office systems and procedures to expedite work flow.
· Craft and deliver both written and verbal presentations as required. Must be able to communicate with tact, judgment, empathy and energy.
· Prepare a variety of correspondence, reports, forms, etc. using prescribed formats.
· Follow up on office supplies, and services and make sure they are handled adequately.
· Any other duties as may be required
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
This position demands a dynamic individual with a demonstrated ability to achieve results in a demanding and fast paced environment.
A minimum of three months of experience working in an office
Excellent communication and interfacing skills and the ability to interact with people from different cultures.
Bachelor’s degree
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure, ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and manage work under tight deadlines.
Efficient self-starter
Strong computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel and Outlook
Familiarity with the nonprofit environment a plus
Must be available IMMEDIATELY.
