The Inventory Stocker performs duties to place product into inventory in predetermined locations while meeting established standards for quality, accuracy, and productivity. This is a seasonal temporary position.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Pull totes off Stock line in the order that they came down the line and place onto cart. Scan into RF device.
- Select titles to be stocked off listing on RF screen. Pull books from totes as directed by device. Scan barcodes of books selected.
- Walk to location displayed, scan barcode at shelf location using laser scanner, scan barcode of book using laser scanner.
- Place correct title at location and enter quantity stocked at location. Deposit empty totes on pallets as appropriate or directed.
- Meet all established standards for quality, accuracy, and productivity.
- Visual acuity, either natural or corrected
- Must be able to lift, carry, and move 1 to 25 pounds continuously and 25 to 60 pounds occasionally.
- Must be able to push and pull a wheeled cart containing work materials weighing 5 to 150 pounds
- Must be able to lift totes of books, with assistance, weighing from 5 to 100 pounds
- Must be able to walk for upwards of 8hrs per day (with breaks)
- Must be able to bend, stoop, crouch and reach frequently.
- Must be able to reach, grasp and carry above shoulder level and below knee level
- Must be able to grasp and use an RF gun weighing 1.4 pounds for upwards of 8hrs per day (with breaks)
