Duties:
A Family Practice or Internal Medicine trained primary care provider is sought for the VA clinic in Ramsey, Minnesota. The clinic is affiliated with the Minneapolis VA Health Care System and is open Monday through Friday and closed on all federal holidays and weekends. There is no evening or weekend call associated with the position. Take time with your patients. Visits for established patients are 30 minutes and for new patients 60 minutes. Our physicians serve the primary care health needs of Ramsey and surrounding areas. Be a part of this dynamic and rapidly growing clinic in a great location. The clinic staffing includes excellent nursing and support staff with integrated mental health providers and a pharmacist working in the clinic with you. Must have a valid medical license anywhere in the US. VA physicians enjoy an excellent benefits package, paid malpractice insurance, and a state-of-the-art electronic medical record. Our practice is that of a small community-based private practice set in a friendly suburb of the Twin Cities Metropolitan community. Tour: Monday-Friday, no night or weekend coverage required. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Eligible applicants must be physically and mentally able to perform efficiently the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation, without hazard to themselves or others.
