Duties:
The VA Medical Center, Poplar Bluff, MO is seeking full-time, Board Eligible or Certified Psychiatrists to join our Mental Health Service team. Duties include but are not limited to the following: · Provide treatment to an adult psychiatric population with diverse diagnoses including Major Affective Disorders, Psychotic Disorders, PTSD and Substance Related Disorders. · Act as a member of the Mental Health Service, comprised of Mental Health Primary Care, Behavioral Health Lab, Consultation Liaison Team, Mental Health Intensive Case Management and Intensive Outpatient Program for Substance Use Disorder. Work Schedule: 1st Shift 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. May be called in to work as needed.Functional Statement Title: Psychiatrist.
