Refer employees to MLB training center for required training and badge request, and issue safety gear (hard hat, safety glasses, cover-alls). Set-up prospective employees for DOT physicals and drug testing, and verify drug test results and training completion before signing off on enrollment form.
Forward enrollment form, W-4s, and payroll information to Payroll Department, and employee health insurance interest forms to the benefits coordinator in the HR Department on a daily basis.
Print and record employee drug test results to eCMS on a daily basis.
Print, review and attach employee’s MVR’s and background checks to CDM.
Exercise discretion and independent judgement when handling company and department day to day information.
Highly motivated with ability to manage their work duties
Knowledge of the organization to complete assignments.
Performs other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of office clerical experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Excellent time-management skills, and a strong multi-tasking ability
- Ability to process multiple types of data and reports
- Ability to read and interpret policies and guidelines
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written with customers and employees at all levels. Bilingual Preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
- This is a full-time position. Occasional weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
- Must be proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high pressure environment
