We’re looking for a Head of People to play an integral role in evolving and scaling our team. Responsibilities:
- Create a successful onboarding process and implement ongoing programs that set new hires up for success
- Source and implement leadership development opportunities and programs
- Facilitate new programs that enhance Tinder’s culture
- Contribute data and insights on compensation benchmarking and headcount planning
- Develop Tinder’s performance management programs
- Develop appropriate HR policies and procedures
- Consult with managers to discuss a wide variety of issues and provide guidance on best course of action
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, benefits, policies, etc.
- Manage external HR vendors and source new partnerships where appropriate
- Prepare internal employee communications regarding a variety of subjects
- Plan and execute company events; with a focus on creating unique experiences for our employees
- Collect and analyze HR data, and make recommendations to management based on trends and insights
- Partner with the recruiting team to maintain Tinder’s employment brand across multiple media channels
- Manage Tinder’s philanthropy efforts
Skills and knowledge you should possess:
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to develop an authentic passion for Tinder’s mission and growth
- Analytical mindset: you use available data to diagnose problems and come up with viable solutions
- You can provide insightful guidance and recommendations to the management team which will help you build rapport and credibility
- You thrive on working in a collaborative environment
- You have worked in startup environments where programs are often being launched for the first time
