Answers incoming calls to PBX and physicians answering service and processes them accordingly. Monitors alarms and handles emergency codes for hospital. Prioritizes calls for physicians and patients.
Education: Minimally requires a high school diploma. Some technical or college preferred.
Training and Experience: Two years telecom, answering service, or call center experience required. Also requires two years customer service related experience and basic PC knowledge.
Job Knowledge: Must have excellent verbal communication skills and typing skills. Must be able to handle a fast-paced, high pressure, multi-priority work environment and possess excellent telephone and organizational skills.
