Role:
The Warehouse Control Clerk is responsible for providing support to the picking, loading and warehousing operations. This position must monitor the accuracy of the inventory on a daily basis by coordinating cycle counts and inventory adjustments.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Inventory and cycle count product in the warehouse and operation;
• Create and maintain reports including blocked bin report, empty bin reports, conveyor report and damaged carton report;
• Work with Transfer Orders (TO’s) including the creation, cancelling and researching;
• Coordinate prioritized unloading of inbound;
• Distribute list of invalid day-codes to the test print shop;
• Look up paper in-transit from other mills/warehouses;
• Enter partials in the Lotus Notes database;
• Run restock sheets and process when complete;
• Checking inbounds for material not scanned after unloading is complete.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or above education;
• Must be willing to maintain and promote a safe work environment;
• Prefer two plus (2+) years experience in a Shipping or Warehouse environment;
• Computer proficient, primarily SAP, Optivision, Telnet, and Microsoft Office Applications;
• Detail oriented in procedures and documentation;
• Overall understanding of logistics terminology and process;
• Effectively communicate both orally and written;
• Capable and proficient in multi tasking;
• Must be able to work a rotating shift schedule and overtime as needed.
Rate of Pay: Starting pay rate is $15.76 per hour and progresses to $19.14 at 18 months.
