Emergency Department Technician works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Assists in providing direct and indirect patient care by performing assigned tasks and procedures in accordance with the philosophy, values, standards, and policies and procedures of SFCH and the department of Nursing. Serves as staff to provide emergency services to patients of all ages.
  • A. Education/Skills

  • National Registry of Basic EMT or other applicable training or experience.

  • B. Experience

  • Six (6) months ER, C N A or EMT experience preferred.

  • C. Licenses, Registrations or Certifications

Current C N A or current EMT certification or certification obtained within six months of employment. CPR certification required within six months of employment.
