Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reviews status of loan and credit card accounts daily for delinquency over 30 days.
- Communicates verbally and in writing with members to effect collection of past due loans; traces members who attempt to avoid obligation; maintains accurate records and documentation of contact
- Determines and recommends new repayment terms, extension agreements, and accounts to be sent to attorney for collection and best method for liquidation of collateral on a case by case basis.
- Recommends repossessions, garnishments and judgments as disposition for defaults, foreclosures and legal actions.
- Reviews and recommends action on all bankruptcy items/issues.
- Recommends loans to be charged-off.
- Recommends procedural changes to streamline operations and enhance collection efforts.
Job Requirements
- One to three years of similar or related experience
- High School diploma or GED.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with members and coworkers.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
