Job Description: Garbage Collector is responsible to for assisting with garbage collection services for Brooklyn based Waste Management company. Primary Job Responsibilities Collect garbage from residential buildings, businesses and other facilities Pick up refuse in other areas as required Dispose of garbage according to set policies and procedures Requirements Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner Demonstrate sound work ethics Deal with the public in a positive, courteous and respectful manner Salary and Hours THIS IS A NIGHT POSITION. Hours vary, but a typical shift is from from 6 PM – 6 AM Sunday- Thursday. FRIDAY AND SATURDAYS OFF! Pay is $10.50/hr + overtime. Typically you should expect $735.00 a week.
