United States of America: Innovations Communication Specialist – Consultancy

Be part of making a changing world change the lives of children

Communication Consultant (Innovations)

New York

We’re looking for a dedicated communication professional to bring imagination and drive in promoting how innovations can change the lives of children globally.

From our New York headquarters, you will help our global Media Team to show how innovations can impact the lives of the world’s most disadvantaged children, reaching out to media organizations and the public to stir up interest in what new and creative ideas can do for development. You will have broad discretion to craft messages, pitch story ideas, and place UNICEF’s innovation agenda in the public eye.

Your work may involve short-term travel to highlight UNICEF’s and others’ work in using new technology and ideas to solve the day-to day-issues that affect children. You will play a critical role in shaping the global narrative on new solutions to the problems facing children.

If you have at least 4 years’ experience in the field of media, have a good understanding of technology and development issues, and a first degree in a related field, we want to hear from you now.
