United States of America: OPERATIONS COORDINATOR, BRAND AND COMMUNICATIONS


CARE is currently seeking an Operations Coordinator, Brand & Communications. As an integral member of the Marketing and Creative Services team, the Operations Coordinator for Brand and Communications manages and supports the production process for CARE’s highest profile materials, brand initiatives and other media presence. A key aspect of the job focuses on orchestrating execution, production and distribution of our publications and brand collateral. The Operations Coordinator is charged with facilitating smooth workflow, ensuring that deadlines are met and costs contained, collaborating with all creative contributors, managing vendors, maintaining inventory, satisfying internal customers’ needs and, ultimately ensuring the timely delivery of superior products used with individual, corporate, governments and institutional donors to fund raise and promote CARE’s brand and work. Reinforcing the management of CARE’s brand is another critical responsibility as this position educates the global organization on brand objectives and standards, encourages compliance, equips staff and outside vendors with branding tools, and identifies challenges and opportunities to help build a stronger brand identity. In this role this person acts as a key point of contact with our with our Office of General Counsel and CARE International colleagues in the interest of promoting and defending a strong global CARE brand.
In addition, this position is the business operations specialist for Brand & Communications. In this capacity the Operations Coordinator is a key liaison with business partners across the organization including Procurement, Finance and Internal Communications; is responsible for the ongoing administration of the department’ SharePoint site; supports the department’s day-to-day business operations by assisting the Senior Director of Brand and Communications and her staff with budget monitoring and reporting and the stewardship of contracts.


Responsibilities:


  • Orchestrates execution, production and distribution of brand materials

  • Reinforces the management of care’s brand and related needs

  • Serves as brand & communications’ business operations specialist

Qualifications:


  • High school diploma

  • Two or more years of professional experience in which the following duties and skills were practiced regularly:

o Project Management
o Detailed Scheduling
o Follow-up and adherence to deadlines
o Liaison to external contacts
o Conducting research
o Providing customer service
o Contract management and budget monitoring
o Oral and written communications


  • Expense tracking

  • Planning and organization

  • Excellent writing skills

  • Experience with Microsoft Office
