Coordinator, Office Services job - Lucasfilm - San Francisco, CA

The Walt Disney Company’s Facility Services and Support department has an immediate opening for a Coordinator, Offices Services to support its Lucasfilm Facility Services and Support Operations Department.

As part of the Workplace Services team, assists in supporting and responding to varied service requests for Lucas Company tenants at Letterman Digital Arts Center (LDAC), working both independently and under limited supervision.


Responsibilities

The purpose of this job is to provide varied support services for the Lucasfilm LDAC campus and provide assist department management team.


A strong proactive approach is required and effectiveness is maximized through relationship building, both internal and external, to accomplish department objectives.


Position Summary:

As part of the Workplace Services team, assists in supporting and responding to varied service requests for Lucas Company tenants at Letterman Digital Arts Center (LDAC), working both independently and under limited supervision.

• Support, organize and prioritize employee work requests via Zendesk, e-mail, telephone, and in-person.

• Handle administrative and special projects support for Workplace Services (WPS) department, as required, including move and space planning support

• Effectively interface between Lucas tenants, employees, landlord, building operations and security personnel as required.

• Schedule, coordinate and escort outside vendors and campus visitors as needed.

• Order and maintain inventory for various office supplies.

• Assist facilities crew if required during special events set-up.

• Provide back-up support for all company switchboards during absences or vacation

• Deliver misc. items, keys, paperwork, etc. between campus buildings as necessary.

• Manage special projects as assigned by WPS, support Lucasfilm events

• Occasional weekday, evening, and weekend overtime is sometimes required.

• Able to effectively and professionally communicate at all levels.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience and demonstrated success in positions of increasing responsibility.

• Previous experience in a similar customer support capacity in a dynamic company.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.

• Must be highly organized, accountable, and able to multi-task effectively.

• Extreme attention to detail with respect to data and communications.

• Able to meet critical deliverable deadlines while maintaining quality of work output.

• Ability to excel in a fast, team-based environment.

• Experience with MS Windows including Outlook e-mail and calendaring functions, MS Word, MS Excel and spreadsheets.

• Will be trained to use Zendesk work ticketing system and Archibus system.
