You will be responsible for establishing and growing Broadcom’s processor business with leading Cloud/ Hyperscale end users/ OEMs/ ODMs. You will identify all opportunities for Broadcom’s technology at the OEMs/ODMs and establish and execute the complex strategy to win all design in opportunities. You must have a proven track record of managing a world-wide OEM accounts, winning key designs and increasing revenue. Candidate must demonstrate that they are a self-starter, self-directed, and highly motivated with a desire to make an impact. Prior start-up experience and or winning complex architectural design wins are critical for the success of this position. Candidate must possess the ability to deal calmly and effectively with multiple, time critical projects while maintaining a high attention to detail. Candidate must feel comfortable in a rapidly changing, very fast paced environment.
Product Marketing executive responsible for driving platform planning and design wins with major OEMs and ODMs in the cloud/ datacenter server market
- Secure design wins with major OEMs, ODMs and Cloud end users
- Manage OEM/ ODM platform roadmap and design win engagements – platform portfolio planning, contract negotiations and design win execution
- Interface for OEM & ODM product marketing groups – drive their messaging and Go-to-market strategy
- Market analysis and forecasting including identification of target segments
- Marketing strategy including planning, positioning, marketing communications, and AR/PR
- Public speaking at industry events (GigaOm, Open Compute, etc.)
- Establish a unified and cohesive OEM coverage team across Broadcom’s Marketing, Sales, Customer Support Engineering to ensure we exceed the needs of the OEM customer
- Provide strong, effective leadership to the Broadcom support team, and potentially other parts of Broadcom’s Tier 1 Customer account team
- Provide sales support to Tier 1 Customer Data Center Solutions Group. Activities include: customer presentations, product demonstrations, product evaluations, driving QTRs and QPPs, business proposal development and RFP response development, design win and revenue forecasting, and timely issue resolution
- Interface with and support Broadcom product management and engineering in their understanding of customer requirements and the needs of the market
- Job requires some travel
Experience level:
- BS + 18 yrs, MS + 15 yrs, PHD + 12 yrs
- Marketing and business development experience in the cloud/ datacenter space
- Strong experience working with server OEMs/ ODMs and taking server platforms to market
- Very strong interpersonal skills, stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills
- Needs to be able to effectively communicate and organize activities that span multiple organizations
- Exceptional written/oral communication and presentation skills
This is a customer facing role, reporting into the Mktg organization.
