Responsibilities:






– Use your expertise in signal processing, hardware architecture and software modeling to produce architectures of industry-leading systems which are implemented in SOCs that ship in high volume across a range of markets






– Develop leading-edge technology that is of strategic importance






– Architect major hardware modules of the next generations of video processors, camera image signal processors, mobile & wearable devices with aggressive real-time performance and efficient use of memory bandwidth and power






– Model architecture in C or C++, performing subjective evaluations, and refine algorithms to achieve an optimal balance of quality and implementation cost






– Develop system architecture and integration plans for embedded processing of low-power cores, power management for portable systems which may contain image processing elements.






 






This position has high visibility and a large degree of responsibility.






 






Requirements:






– Minimum MSEE required with multiple years of experience; PhD in relevant area nice-to-have






– Strong hardware architecture experience






– Prefer demonstrated success in developing advanced power and system architectures for cameras, wearables, or mobile devices as the position involves system architecture including architecture of high performance, low cost hardware, clear documentation, system level design considerations, and software modeling






– Following skills are a big plus: system architecture, power management, battery management, wireless charging, embedded processor system usage and wireless power management; theoretical background in algorithms, signal processing, battery technology and wireless RF power






– Must be knowledgeable about the practical hardware and software implications of architectural decisions






– Excellent written and verbal communication skills






– Be able to collaborate with other groups within the company to complete major projects






– Be able to work independently, while working as part of a fast moving, closely knit team
