The Wireless Connectivity FAE (HW/RF Focussed) will be responsible for all field technical support for products relating to Bluetooth, WLAN, and other Radio frequency Technologies.
Assist customers in their technical evaluation of the Broadcom products under consideration and give technical presentations. Perform schematic reviews, assist in RF tuning and HW troubleshooting/bringup at the customer site. Understand the products thoroughly and in order to answer customers’ questions regarding the products, providing timely and accurate information. Work with Sales Account Manager to increase demand for Broadcom products pertaining to hardware and software applications. Understand the customer’s application in order to identify key technology and product features for next generation products. Act as technical liaison between Design Teams/ Factory Application Teams and the customer.
5-7 years experience in RF and Hardware design and development. BSEE required. Team player, independent, self-starter, adaptable to rapidly changing market requirements, with prioritization skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated success calling on decision makers at a high level of management in target account base. Past record of success. Experience with Bluetooth and 802.11 WLAN standards and product implementations. Previous exposure to providing customer support is helpful. Familiar with Linux and basic scripts |
