MISSION STATEMENT

In order to accomplish this vision, FH’s mission is to “walk with churches leaders and families in overcoming all forms of human poverty by living in healthy relationship with God and His creation”.


PURPOSE OF THE JOB


As a member of Food for the Hungry’s Global Information Technology team, the IT Support Specialist will be responsible for managing the Help Desk, providing technical assistance and supporting the employees of FH worldwide with concentration in the Phoenix office, as well as assisting daily operations of the IT infrastructure including but not limited to software installation and upgrades, system builds, and general end user, desktop and server support critical to the operations of FH.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


Key Result Area #1 – Manage the Help Desk (20%).


Key Result Area #2 – Respond to and Resolve End-User Technical Issues and Requests (40%).


Key Result Area #3 – Provide support for basic System Administration (30%).


Key Result Area #4 – Communicate to increase end-user awareness and ability to use technology tools and resources (10%).
