Functions include: preparing documents for imaging; ensuring documents are sorted; notifying the scanner operator of special instructions; boxing, storing and moving workflow for an area; scanning/imaging data into an indexing system; entering data into applicable computer-based system(s).
Work may involve transporting or moving 50 pounds or more on a daily basis.
Required Education
High school diploma or equivalent.
Required Work Experience
One year of data entry experience.
Preferred:
One year of claims experience in a health care environment.
Required Skills and Abilities
Good communication and organizational skills.
Ability to operate standard office equipment: computer, copier, phone and fax machine.
