Associate, Grants Management
The U.S. Fund for UNICEF seeks an Associate, Grants Management to join its Strategy and Operations team. The Associate will perform various grants management tasks described below.
Key Responsibilities/Outcomes (include but are not limited to):
- Liaise with USF departments to ensure accurate and timely tracking of internal process within the Grants Management system for the entire life cycle of grant (from proposal to reporting)
- Coordinate grants’ management processes including the oversight of pre-award data management, multi-year payments and sub grants, and post-award data management, including UNICEF reporting, UNICEF PBA management & USF donor reporting
- Work with internal partners to collect the necessary information- ensuring accurate data entry through a web based transaction management system to our external partners
- Work proactively with fundraising and program staff to upload all relevant documents to the SharePoint site within the Grants Management system
- Facilitate the tracking of UNICEF and donor reports in collaboration with fundraisers in support of donor stewardship
- Analyze data and create reports to facilitate program and donor grant data analysis in collaboration with IT, program and fundraising staff
- Manage tracking of documentation required for internal approvals within Grants Management system
- Perform special projects as required
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of three years’ experience, preferably in a grants management function
- Ability to analyze complex data and draw meaningful conclusions; must be comfortable with data intensive analysis
- Proven ability to prioritize and work independently
- Strong interpersonal, time-management, and communication skills; ability interact effectively with different departments across the organization
- Proven ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with keen attention to detail
- Strong team-orientation and organizational skills
- Strong proficiency with systems, complex data structure, and Microsoft Word and Excel
