Purpose:
UNICEF, the world’s leading organization working for the rights of children, seeks a consultant to:
- Support the implementation of the HR’s Records Management project and field offices’ digitization in compliance with records best practices.
- Conduct quality checks on country offices’ OSF, including scanning quality and indexing
(coding). - Provide country offices with training and other support related to this project.
- Support country offices in uploading digitized OSF files to NYHQ
- Support the Records Management Administrator in the implementation of the records
management system.

Minimum requirements and competencies:
• A minimum of two years of experience in document management.
• A university degree in finance, administration or records management and two years of professional work experience in a related field. A first level university degree in combination with at least four years of experience may be accepted in lieu of the advance university degree.
• Experience with United Nations human resource management and/or financial management is an advantage.
• Ability to present highly complex arguments, information and ideas in an easy to understand and memorable fashion.
• Prior experience in delivering and/or supporting training activities is an advantage.
• Excellent organization skills, initiative and creativity, solid judgment/decision making skills
• Excellent command of written and spoken English. Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and with multiple stakeholders.
