Responsible for the collection of routine, STAT, and other requested blood samples from nursing homes, homebound patients, and Outpatients. These specimens are delivered to the technical areas for analysis. Assist with clerical duties in the department to include patient registrations and test ordering. Performs EKG’s on Outpatients.
Qualifications:
Phlebotomy certification preferred.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Drivers license and appropriate auto insurance verification
Experience preferred.
