Our growing practice is expanding our Client Support Staff in order to continue providing exceptional client service. We have an immediate opening for a highly efficient and personable full-time receptionist.
The next member of our team should meet the following minimum qualifications:
- Lives within 30 minutes (with traffic) of Fairfield/Cypress Communities.
- Has a flexible schedule and is able to work overtime, double-shifts and/or switch shifts if needed.
- Has relevant experience in an extremely fast paced and demanding work environment.
- Has pets of their own. May have additional experience working with animals.
- Understands the shift and training schedules and is open to all working hours [Training schedule will be 9:30am-5:00pm. Once sufficiently trained we will be assessing the best shift for this CSR, either 6:30am-2pm or Noon-close (usually between 7-7:30). We also work every other Saturday 7am-close (1-2pm). We will be open on Sundays in the future]
- Pay requirements fall within the $10-12 per hour range – final offer will be based on experience and amount of training needed to successfully perform the position duties.
Other Required Skills:
- Should be able to multi-task efficiently and have friendly and professional demeanor
- Must show initiative and have the ability to hustle and conquer a heavy workload
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to educate and discuss veterinary conditions (after training)
- Must work effectively as part of the hospital team
- Have a can-do attitude. Catches and fixes mistakes from self or others without being asked.
- Computer proficiency, familiarity with database software (Impromed Infinity) or ability to quickly learn and use software and procedures.
- Resolve service and product problems by clarifying client’s complaint, identifying the cause, explaining the best solution and ensuring the client receives a timely solution.
- Position includes checking clients in and out, answering phones, scanning records, maintaining medical records and client account information, educating clients, cleaning and helping out wherever needed.
