Front Desk Assistant - Dental Supply Company - Chicago, IL

Position Summary: A dental company is seeking the services of a front desk assistant for our office. The front desk assistant provides customers with excellent service and helps assist office managers’ with day-to-day responsibilities.


Essential Functions:
-Welcomes customers by greeting them in person and on the telephone; answering and referring inquiries.
-Serve visitors by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately.
-Maintains customers’ accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information.
-Handles cash and simple book-keeping as a daily routine. -Transition between tasks, if needed.
-Answer, screen and forward any incoming phone calls while providing basic information when needed -Receive and sort daily mail/deliveries/couriers -Perform other clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, collating, faxing etc.


Position Requirements :
-Multi-tasking,Flexibility, Telephone Skills, Customer Service, Time Management, Organization, Attention to Detail, Scheduling, Word Processing , Professionalism, Quality Focus. (Previous medical receptionist experience a plus.)
-Detailed Oriented
-Highly Organized
-The ability to be polite but firm when dealing with difficult, impatient or upset customers.
-Basic IT skills and able to type fast for data entry.
-A friendly and confident personality.


Job Type: Full-time


Salary: $14.25 /hour
