Toyota’s Corporate Shared Services Indirect Procurement Department is looking for a highly motivated and qualified Procurement Compliance Analyst.


The primary responsibility of this role is to support the Indirect Procurement organization with governance practices related to Authorization & Procurement policies, as well as, SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) governance for procurement related controls.


Reporting to the Manager of Process & Programs, the person in this role will support the Indirect Procurement Department’s objective to support compliance activities for CSSIP (Corporate Shared Services Indirect procurement). The person in this role will serve as the primary point of contact for all compliance and policy related activities and initiatives. This person will also support continuous improvement processes to support the strategic sourcing efforts of the organization.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Establish compliance metrics for Corporate Shared Services Indirect Procurement (CSSIP) Department

  • Lead efforts to communicate procurement policies and Sarbanes–Oxley (SOX) requirements

  • Provide analysis and develop recommendations for process improvements based on stakeholder feedback and technology enhancements

  • Prepare and distribute quarterly, monthly and ad-hoc customized operational reporting

  • Back-up system administration

  • Monitor and prepare key metrics for communication to senior management

  • Provide project support for various procurement initiatives

Qualifications

A successful candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor Degree

  • Proficient skill in the use of Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Word

  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal

  • Able to work independently and perform multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

  • Ability to perform in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment

A successful candidate may have:

  • Knowledge of Ariba, Coupa and PeopleSoft software

  • Strong experience in a Procurement or Business Analysis, or Strategic Analysis position

  • Ability to develop recommendations for process improvements based on stakeholder feedback and technology enhancements

  • Ability to lead efforts to communicate procurement policies and Sarbanes–Oxley (SOX) requirements

  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to interface with all levels of management and staff

  • Strong knowledge of Toyota North America operations across all affiliates
