Betfred, the UK’s largest independent bookmakers, have a vacancy for a shop sales manager at our High Street, Chesham shop.
In this role you will be responsible for the overall business performance of the shop. You will manage a team of staff, ensuring they provide excellent customer service within the shop environment. You must be a confident person who will lead by example by talking to customers and promoting our products face to face out in the customer area.
Being socially responsible is very important to Betfred and you must be comfortable in requesting ID from anyone entering our shops who appears to be under the age of 21.
You will ensure our company policies and processes are followed and that new starters are fully inducted to Betfred, and that the shop is presented to a high standard.
You must also have strong numerical skills with a GCSE Maths desirable. Previous experience of working in a management role and knowledge and understanding of sports or bookmaking is advantageous in this role.
Uniform will be provided. You must be over 18 years of age and hours may include evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
