An opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst to join a large global Consultancy. My client is looking to recruit an experienced Business Analyst Consultant with end to end project life cycle experience.
The successful candidate will provide superior business analysis expertise and liaison between the Business Community and Technology in developing Business Requirements and recommended solutions that meet customer needs and delivery of ROI on business strategies.
Key Responsibilities
As a BA consultant you will work on multiple projects as a project team member, leading other business analyst activity where appropriate.
You will participate in the development of standards and tools for the European Business Analysis CoE and ensure compliance with approved standards.
You will audit the effectiveness of the ‘requirements management process’ on large projects and recommend improvements. The successful candidate will work closely with the business and developers, both onshore and offshore, to answer questions and clarify requirements, co-ordinating across project teams as necessary to ensure integration of technical designs to meet requirements.
Requirements
- Proven experience of working as a BA, leading a team of analysts working on multiple of large sized projects.
- Strong communication skills – The ability to make and influence decisions & implement changes in a virtual team environment, and understand decision making principles and its direct effect on project ROI.
- Proven experience of managing / developing standards/processes including the Investment Development Process from a strategic and tactical viewpoint
- Any formal qualifications in Agile, ISEB and/or Project Management would be an advantage. Experience working in the Business Information Industry.
- Knowledge of BA Standards & practices and the ability to keep up-to-date with Industry movements.
- Experience of structured analysis techniques and concepts within an Software Development Life Cycle environment
