Performs a variety of general support tasks which may include: receiving incoming calls, providing information and answering routine inquiries, greeting and directing visitors, maintaining files, processing mail, and other clerical related duties. Works within a well-defined framework of policies and procedures, under immediate supervision.
Detailed Description
Receives incoming calls, gives information, takes accurate messages, and delivers them in a timely manner. Answers routine inquiries and processes requests for information. Receives and researches requests for information. Greets and directs visitors. Maintains files and/or inventory. Processes mail. Enters data. Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Graduation from an accredited high school/GED program. Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions, organize and process work and establish and maintain effective working relationship with other County employees and the general public. May require prolonged walking, standing, sitting, climbing or bending, and ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. unassisted.
