They’ve achieved a strong global presence and pride themselves on producing high quality, game-changing diagnostic technology and services within IVD products, oncology and critical infectious diseases, to meet or exceed customer expectations. This forward thinking business is looking to strengthen their clinical research team with a senior Clinical Research Associate.
About the Clinical Research Associate role
- To design, plan and implement the overall direction of clinical research projects
- Assist the study team with all operational activities for new and ongoing infectious disease and cancer diagnostic test product clinical evaluations
- Independently responsible for all activities for the clinical trial
- Devise and write study protocols, investigator and site specific manuals, design case report forms for new and modified products
- Assist with the management of key study parameters
- Prepare clinical reports
- Resolve problems in a timely manner
- Maintain a high level of familiarity with clinical literature in your field of study
- 30-50% international travel
About you
We welcome applications from candidates with:
- A Batchelor’s degree in a scientific discipline
- Strong and proven experience with monitoring In Vitro Diagnostic (IVD) products
- Experienced in all aspects of a clinical trial
- Excellent knowledge of good clinical trial design
- Fluent in both English and a second language either German, French, Spanish or Italian
- Excellent communication and team skills
- Knowledge of GCP & ICH guidelines and FDA regulations
- Ideally, previous hands-on experience in clinical research at either a pharmaceutical/biotech company or hospital
