With the upcoming launch of an all-new website, Stompbox is aiming to achieve the number one position in the country in terms of consideration of guitar effects. While online sales are important, Stompbox also uses the internet to market its impressive shop and demonstration facilities which are conveniently located in Northwood, North West London, right in the heart of thriving musical communities.
Job Purpose:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a creative, talented and motivated individual to join Stompbox as a digital marketing apprentice focussed on search engine optimisation (SEO), social media and website content development. This business development role will help to grow the client base of the company and it is the ideal role for a learner who is analytically minded but also creative, with the ability to produce engaging online content.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain online content that is unique, interesting and will attract customers to our sites.
- Grow social media presence across; Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram and other similar community sites
- Work with E-commerce manager to develop multi-channel stock control systems
- Work with agency to develop and maintain strong SEO performance
- Develop, maintain and analyse Google Adwords campaigns
- Analysis of sales and marketing data to identify trends in product take up and market sectors, spot opportunities for future growth or new products and develop commercial proposals
- Analysis of customer data to enable the business to build a segmentation of its customers based on behaviour, spending patterns, profitability and ROI
- Deputise in sales assistant role dealing with customers face-to-face, on the phone, by e-mail
- Deputise in sales dispatch assisting with the packaging of internet orders and/or booking in of new inventory
Learner Requirements:
About You:
- A minimum of 5 GSCEs (or equivalent qualifications) at grade C or above including English, Maths and ICT
- Play guitar to a good standard
- Passionate about guitars and effects
- ‘Geek’ mentality about guitar products
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
- Interested in blogging
- Strong Attention to Detail – spelling and grammatical errors must be avoided at all times
- Proactive, professional and reliable
- Able to work well independently
- Confident with Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram
- Interested in Social Media Marketing
- A passion for new technologies and campaigns
