A school in High Wycombe is seeking to appoint a qualified English Teacher OR NQT to join the school on a full time, long term basis from September 2015 or earlier for the right candidate. You will be required to teach the Key stage 3 and 4 curriculum although Key stage 5 experience would be desired. The school is a mixed comprehensive school with mixed ability classes. You will need to have Qualified Teacher status and good behaviour management to be considered for this role.
As the successful Teacher you will need to;
- Be a Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) or have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a PGCE, GTP or Bachelor of Education
- Have the ability and experience of teaching your chosen subject to KS5
- Have strong classroom management skills
- Be able to deal with challenging behaviour and a creative approach is necessary
- Be able to use your own initiative and work as part of a team
- Possess the passion to teach
- Hard working, enthusiastic and dedicated
- MUST have previous experience
- Excellent understanding of the National Curriculum
