Our client, a successful waste management company, is seeking a hard working and self-motivated candidate who is keen to pursue a career within an office. The role would give the opportunity to develop relationships with internal and external customers whilst providing excellent customer service at all times.
Supporting the senior members of staff working within the Outsource Department, the successful candidate will be required to perform the following duties:
- Responding to all queries from customers, contractors and colleagues.
- Processing service bookings.
- Liaising closely with contractors.
- Populating customer-specific invoicing reports and supporting the accounts department in resolving customer/contractor invoice queries.
- Diligently maintaining customer records.
- Monitoring of systems.
- Identifying areas for improvement in processes and procedures.
- Assisting the Senior Key Account and New Business Co-ordinator when required.
- Various other ad hoc tasks as deemed relevant and necessary.
The successful candidate will possess the following skills:
- Computer literate, with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to manage own workload effectively and efficiently: managing and prioritising tasks.
- Able to communicate effectively and professionally in writing, on a 1:1 basis and by phone with a range of people including management and customers.
- The ability to work under one’s own initiative to solve problems.
- The ability to keep to strict deadlines.
- The ability and willingness to follow instruction.
