Are you passionate about supporting families displaying challenging behaviour to bring about positive change for them? Do you have experience of multi-agency working to support families?
If so, you could apply to become a Family Intervention Project worker. Family Intervention Projects are designed to support families who need intensive, high quality, support to motivate them to change their behaviour to provide positive outcomes for children, young people and their parents/ carers including successfully retaining their current housing or accessing more suitable alternatives.
The successful applicant will provide one to one support and will also identify and co-ordinate the support required, and provided, by other services. Successful applicants will need to be able to work flexibly as this role may require some work out of traditional office hours.
A satisfactory CRB check, full driving licence and access to a car will also be required. The post-holder will be based at in Watford, and will be supervised by the Thriving Families team located at South Oxhey.
