flexible schedule and work-life balance What You Will Be Doing The Front End Web Developer is responsible for helping design and build digital solutions to address client needs.
In this position the developer will work on small to full-scale web applications, interactive sales tools, HTML emails, and on occasion assist with rich media development.
The Front End Web Developer will be required to maintain and make enhancements to existing applications and troubleshoot issues reported in production environment.
The developer works closely with other developers, account teams, a UX architect, designers and a project manager on a day-to-day basis.
bull Collaborate with a team of developers in partnership with creative design team bull Work closely with project managers to estimate and meet delivery timelines bull Understand complex business requirements and help translate them into manageable deliverables bull Translate design documents into front end and presentation layer development bull Design, develop and maintain the operation of a range of applications, with a specific emphasis on usability, performance and scalability bull Deploy complete sites and add new features and functionality bull Implement new features and maintain existing codebase bull Writing and debugging in multiple browsers and optimizing SQL queries bull Work in a fast-paced continual learning environment.
Requires independent education with the ability to quickly adapt and learn new technologies to solve business issues bull Some client interaction required bull Follow coding standards and best practices bull Ability to follow design and functional specifications as well as production processes bull Be interested and open to the technology that best supports a client’s needs What You Need for this Position bull Proficient with HTML5, CSS3, Java Script, jQuery bull Experience with .NET 4.5 server side scripting, ASP, MVC bull Experience integrating with and extending CMS required, experience with Umbraco CMS a plus bull Experience working from Photoshop documents and wireframe documentation bull Familiarity with responsive design bull Ability to work well in a team environment, excelling both individually and collectively bull Comfortable working on web applications for external clients, with deadlines bull Excellent time management, problem solving, teamwork, and communication skills bull Strong attention to detail bull Experience with source control bull 1-5 years development experience in a professional environment bull Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field What’s In It for You We have an awesome company culture and working environment in.
