Lead Data Support Analyst job - Concur - Home Based





Concur is looking for a Highly focused and motivated Data Support Analyst Lead to Join the Data Analytics and Insights team in Crawley. The successful analyst will play a key role in supporting the existing client base, as well implementing new clients on the Traveltrax product. The individual will possess strong SQL / ETL skills with the aptitude to troubleshoot and QA data related issues. We are looking for a problem solver who is able to think outside the box and challenge the status quo. Creativity and speed of delivery are essential to our success and so candidates must be comfortable working in a fast paced and constantly changing environment.

Responsibilities:


  • Develop and Maintain ETL processes using appropriate technologies and scripts.


  • Data extraction, cleansing and manipulation using advanced SQL


  • Analyze, troubleshoot and QA travel related data across the Concur hosted data warehouse.


  • Respond and resolve tickets logged via CRM tool in accordance to priorities set and the associated SLA’s


  • Answer client enquiries/questions relating to their travel data and proactively offer recommendations / solutions


  • Communicate with 3rd party data suppliers for implementation of new data feeds


  • Assist with the installation, control and maintenance of the applications and databases


  • Provide documentation and process flow as required by the business to assist with educating the wider team.


  • Participate with implementation of new offerings and architectural components.


  • Create / maintain Excel reports for monthly statistics and data presentation.


  • Perform training, design and knowledge transfer sessions


  • Monitor data quality levels and escalate where necessary


  • Ability to work independently in addition to working as a team player maintaining a positive attitude


  • Apply technical experience and logic to assist customers in troubleshooting and problem resolution.


  • Timely status reporting to management upon completion of each delivery for billing and record-keeping purposes


  • Lead team in training on technologies and processes


  • Lead in the management of critical issues and work towards collaborative resolution.


  • Lead initiatives in improving processes and identify areas of inefficiency.

Position Requirements


Education, Experience & Training required:



  • Significant experience writing SQL to retrieve data and assist with problem solving.


  • Experience with SQL Stored procedures for data automation, mapping and cleaning


  • Excellent communication skills in order to effectively communicate to the business and understand their requirements and or issues.


  • Strong customer service orientation.


  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.


  • Ability to make sound and logical judgments.


  • Ability to perform general mathematical calculations.


  • Able to conduct research into issues and process failures as required.


  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment and make good decisions in emergency situations.


  • Ability to pass a background check


Bonus Points if you Have:


  • Excel VBA / Scripting experience.


  • Working knowledge of File Transfer Protocols


  • Knowledge of SQL Server Integration Services(SSIS)


  • Travel industry experience/knowledge
