As a Mortgage Administrator, you will be responsible for processing new mortgage applications for customers in a timely manner.
In this challenging and varied role, you’ll progress new applications through to pre-offer stage in line with credit policies. You’ll register applications, check credit levels, access valuations and ensure that the agreed lending policies are adhered to at all times.
Providing a high level of customer service, you’ll prepare cases for fund release, assess credit reports and review employment-related documentation. Additionally, you’ll undertake a range of general administrative activities to ensure the smooth running of the department.
Interested? To be considered for this role, you must have:
- At least 12 months’ mortgage or secured loans processing experience
- Basic knowledge of regulations as they affect mortgages and secured loans
As a Mortgage Administrator, you must have excellent communication, reasoning and problem solving skills, as well as a positive and reliable approach. A professional telephone manner is also key.
Experience of loan processing systems would be beneficial to your application.
