Overall Purpose of Job
- Work closely with candidates, external recruiters, managers and human resources professionals in support of the business’ hiring needs. Assist with managing the flow of candidates thorough the recruitment process, from scheduling interviews to bringing new employees on board
- Support the In-house Recruitment Consultant in the implementation of recruitment campaigns, objectives and policies
Key Accountabilities
- Utilise online recruitment tools such as social media and job boards in order to attract and source suitable candidates
- CV shortlisting and application management
- Scheduling and co-ordinating of candidate interviews and booking meeting rooms
- Assisting with the organisation and facilitation of assessment centres
- Liaising with direct candidates, agencies and Hiring Mangers to build relationships and provide regular updates
- Administration of online skills testing
- Updating Recruitment Management System
- Generation of monthly reports
- Raising purchase orders via the purchase management system
- Processing contract extensions
- Assisting with all onboarding activities, including offer letters, background screening and referencing
- Assisting with the implementation and configuration of new recruitment system
- Support the completion of any other ad hoc tasks required by the HR team and other areas as required.
Experience, Knowledge & Skills
- Minimum of 2 years experience within an administration focused role
- Excellent client service/customer service skills
- Proven ability to multi-task and independently prioritise responsibilities
- Ability to communicate and present information to a high standard
- Experience of balancing management expectations and demonstrating flexibility within a fast changing environment
- Ability to manage a large and variable work load, ensuring timely and accurate completion of assigned work
- In-house or agency recruitment experience preferred
- Experience of recruitment system implementation projects and configuration
- Minimum 5 GCSE’s or equivalent (with A-C in Maths & English)
