The Registered Nurse (RN) Cardiac Cath Lab is responsible for the nursing care of patients in the Cardiac Cath Lab and Cath Lab Holding Area (pre and post procedure) utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in accordance with standards of nursing practice and philosophy of the Nursing Department. Additional responsibilities include monitoring, circulator and scrub assistant duties in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ recent experience in interventional cath lab or 2 years recent critical care experience required.
Must be willing to participate in an “on call” rotation.
Licenses/Certifications: Must possess a current Tennessee Registered Nurse license or current multi-state RN license. Current BLS and ACLS required.
