Senior Front End Developer ndash Pioneering Business Forecasts and Data Visualizations Intensity applies expertise in economics, data science, and machine learning to solve the most complex and challenging issues that organizations face in the competitive marketplace.
We are seeking a senior level front-end developer to implement the technical design and development of web-based applications that deliver pioneering business forecasts and data visualizations.
This position requires a can-dowill-do attitude, a love of coding, and a passion for solving challenging problems.
The position is located in San Diego, California.
RESPONSIBILITIESDUTIES Specific responsibilities and duties for the Senior Front End Developer include Implement the front-end technical design and development of enterprise-class, cloud-hosted, web applications Write robust front-end code with HTML, CSS, and Javascript frameworks and libraries Develop rich, interactive data visualizations, including graphs, charts, and other dynamic features Design and implement user authentication and security features Collaborate with product managers, UI designers, and back-end developers to define functional requirements and translate them into technical requirements Rapidly solve problems and fix bugs Work with technology partners and vendors as required Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management QUALIFICATIONS Qualifications for the Senior Front End Developer include Extensive experience building world-class web application interfaces Deep expertise in HTML5, CSS3, and Javascript frameworks and libraries Deep expertise designing and developing rich, interactive data visualizations Strong understanding of web standards, cross-browser compatibility, and CSS-based design Understanding of application server and database development, including basic data structures and algorithms Experience with Agile development methodology Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively Problem solver and technology enthusiast Creativity, innovation, and resourcefulness Bachelors andor Masters degree from a top university PREFERRED Preferred experiences and capabilities for the Senior Front End Developer include Experience with Javascript frameworks (Angular JS, Ext JS, etc.
