Seeking a part to full-time editor for legal blog content. The job entails working within an online system, reading blog content and checking it for grammatical and factual accuracy (against specific sources), flow and form. Moderate rewriting may be required. Editor must be willing to reject pieces with specific feedback to writers where needed so corrections can be made. Pay is performance based. Some training will be provided.
Must have experience as a writer and/or editor and be able to handle a substantial workload. Some familiarity with AP style is preferred. The work is fact-based and sourced on United States news. No editorial content.
This is a contractor position (1099) and STRICTLY telecommute (work from your own home or office).
